Vulliamy Murray Bennett trio formed in Shipley in 2013. They mostly play freely improvised music, although this album features compositions by the trio that were commissioned as part of a residency for the British Science Festival in Bradford. Each piece was conceived as a response to a certain issue in science, as the titles reflect. The band are Aby Vulliamy (viola), George Murray (trombone), and Seth Bennett (double bass).
